The lake dates back to the early 90’s, where gravel was dug for the building in Turin and the surrounding area.
The lake has previously been divided into 4 with nets so you could keep different fish in the same lake, something you have practiced in many lakes in Italy, these nets are now removed, so we are left with a whole lake, but there is still a little net at one end of the lake, creating a safe zone for the fish.

The lake is about 800m long and measures about 250m on the widest part, the bottom varies greatly from about 1-9m water and the slopes come close to land so 15-20m from the bank there is 8m water. The bottom consists mainly of sand and gravel, there is some weed, found along the bank and on the lower plateaus, this weed holds on many fish in the summer. There is an old dirt road through the lake which is a good hot spot where the fish eat daily. There are several different species in the lake, common carp mirror carp and grass carp, there are many carp between 8-15 kg a good bag of fish between 15-20kg, the lake currently holds about 18 fish over 20kg with a top weight of 28kg. In addition to them there are European catfish + 80kg, the American catfish, channel catfish, a little handful sturgeon. The black bass striped bass, a few breams and lots of sunfish. In the lake we have crayfish and turtles, so hard hookbaits are good on the shallow water. You can drive to all the swims, and shopping is close by.
